This office is part of one of the most prestigious historic palaces in Florence which was commissioned by Alessandro Capponi in 1702. The project was appointed to the great architect Carlo Fontana and completed fifteen years later, resulting in a grand residence of extraordinary beauty and prestige.
This spectacular historic palace has been praised by numerous visitors, one of which the famous French politician Montesquieu, and it still boasts numerous collections, highly refined decors and marvellous frescos, all still perfectly preserved.
The office inside this historic villa covers the whole main floor for a total floor surface of 573 m2. We access the property into a bright and striking gallery featuring many large French windows overlooking the beautiful Italian style garden that surrounds the building. The gallery leads to the grand halls, also very luminous, vast and decorative the great ballroom hall, the hall of the Ciseri and a smaller sitting room at the far end of the gallery.
The interiors still preserve the charm and beauty that distinguished them already in the early part of the period of the Risorgimento, when it was visited by personalities of the Italian and European cultural scene such as Giacomo Leopardi, Alessandro Manzoni, Massimo d'Azeglio e Giuseppe Giusti.
