Lake Como

Lake Como is a natural lake in Lombardy, originated by great fluvial excavations and modelled by continued glaciation. It is the third largest Italian lake and the first for its length of coastline; it is also famous for its inverted Y shape.
Mentioned by romantic poets in the 1800s, from Alessandro Manzoni to Stendhal, from George Gordon Byron to Franz Liszt, it is probably one of the most charming and enchanting areas of Italy. And if in the past the lakes were the main attraction for poets, today they are a recurrent destination for the national and international jet set. It is impossible not to fall in love with this area and its unique climate and charming, colourful and pleasantly-scented landscape, which is also why the demand for villas in this area is always growing.
